We help build data-driven organisations -- where decisions are taken pragmatically, and based on quantitative evidence. We have a product that makes this easier: to analyse and visualise large data. We are looking for people who can understand its capabilities, and help build a customer base that uses it effectively.
You will work on engagements building analyses and visualisations that help the client make right decisions faster. You will manage the client engagement and be involved throughout the complete lifecycle from business problem understanding, through data analysis, visualisation design and development, client implementation and training. You manage a team of analysts, designers and developers who would report into you, and act as the single point of contact for the client to ensure that they leverage our product to derive considerable business value. You will also participate in the sales and pre-sales activities, demonstrating the product in the client's context.
Your job will require a good command over statistics and data analysis, a thorough hands-on approach to business analysis and problem solving, and a solid grounding in Project Delivery and people management with an ability to drive and achieve desired outcomes.
If you have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and have a good understanding of how businesses work, you may be the person for us. We are building an automated data visualization engine. It analysis data intelligently, identifies the most appropriate visuals, and lays out a dashboard without human intervention – but we support manually created templates.
The engine is written in Python. The result is in SVG, often embedded in HTML.
We are looking for people to help build the engine (20% of the time), and customise templates for clients (80% of the time). You will explore clients' data, analyse it using modern statistical techniques, find the best visualizations that tell the story of the analysis, and implement it.

If you like solving Project Euler problems for fun, or building open source projects on the side, and consider yourself fairly good at Python, you may be the person for us.
Your job will require a combination of programming, statistics, and art. We don't expect you to know all three. If you are a good programmer, and have an interest in machine learning, interaction design and large scale optimisation, we may be the company for you. We'll train you and set you on the path to data science.

The interview will last 45 minutes. You need to be online for this. We will introduce Gramener and explain your role, work environment, growth path, training, etc. We will then discuss your past work, and a few simple technical problems.
