The world has from ages past recognised the role of the teacher in shaping human lives. No wonder teachers are remembered and felicitated in some part of the world all through the year (except August - Are you aware of any nation that celebrates Teacher's Day in August?).
Wikipedia lists the days when Teacher's Day is celebrated in 88 nations around the world. Most countries celebrate during October. Five North African nations (Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia) & Five Middle-East nations (Jordan, Oman, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Yemen) have their celebrations in February. The South American nations though celebrate in different months except for Paraguay & Ecuador who celebrate in April.
