  • Between 2008 & 2011 Kalahandi Dt reported the highest number of incidents in Odisha.
  • Balasore reported 49 incidents in 2013. Until 2012 the district had been reporting under 10 incidents a year mostly.
  • Keonjhar Dt reported 60 incidents in 2013, the highest number reported in Odisha since 2001.
  • Until 2012 Baragarh Dt had been reporting less than 5 incidents a year. In 2013 the number of reported incidents was 32.
  • Rayagada reported 58 incidents in 2013, more than half the number in 2012.
