About the role

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Content Marketing & Strategy will strategize and lead a team tasked with marketing professionals, inside sales, content writers, designers, and growth hackers. Using inbound marketing tactics such as webinars, search engine optimization, social media, landing page, and email marketing you will generate qualified leads, increase domain authority, and company revenues. You will work with team members based in India, global leadership and strategic client acquisition markets such as North America & APAC (Singapore, India).

Overview of the role

This role requires a high level of creativity, multi-tasking, project management skills, and a pleasing personality. In the short term, you will be prioritizing demand generation, content marketing but will soon scale to set up Branding, PR, Events, and overall marketing function.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute long term content strategy for demand generation and growth
  • Define scalable processes for content creation in collaboration with other teams
  • Lead a team of marketers to drive key business metrics leads, MQLs, SQLs, and Opportunities.
  • Lead & Collaborate with a team of designers, product owners, sales, external influencers, and industry experts to be marketed via all inbound channels (social, email, blog, landing pages, etc.)
  • Develop and manage a marketing editorial calendar for both short and long-form content
  • Lead & Generate Marketing assets blogs, implementation guides, white papers, videos, e-books, social media content, etc. that align with demand generation, digital, product marketing, sales priorities
  • Design & execute Account-based marketing initiatives in close partnership with sales
  • Grow the team through hiring and training.
  • Make data-driven decisions to move the team and our content forward and hit company goals.
  • Provide tactical guidance on identifying and engaging with media, analysts, and influencers.
  • Maintain consistent brand positioning and messaging across all content
  • Explore and experiment with new media outlets and social channels to promote content

Qualifications and requirements

  • BA/BS with 7+ years of equivalent working experience driven by creative intuition.
  • Location: North America, preferably Princeton, NJ
  • Proven and visible marketing persona, with experience in driving content marketing for the tech industry across several disciplines (text, design, video, etc.) and media (blogging, guides, whitepapers, infographics, podcasts, etc.).
  • Leadership experience with an ability to work in a startup environment & global teams
