About the Role

We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our Demand Gen team. In this role, you will manage all the aspects of our social media channels as well as be responsible for our community management activities. You will be collaborating with various teams at Gramener to grow our community engagement and brand awareness. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary, health insurance benefits, and flexible work hours.

Work location: Bengaluru / Hyderabad

Responsibilities of a Social Media Specialist:

  • Track day-to-day content and engagement activities across different social platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
  • Use the social tech stack to post content and report on various performance metrics (eg. Sprout, Bambu, Shield)
  • Create compelling social media plans/programs to achieve predefined goals (follower growth, engagement, sales/traffic, etc.)
  • Benefit the organization’s goals of enhancing the website traffic, brand awareness, lead generation, and more
  • Develop social campaigns that align with the overall team’s integrated campaign objectives
  • Monitor our social media accounts and offer constructive, on-brand interaction with the community at large
  • Engage with different external communities/forums keeping in mind our target market
  • Share the consumption insights with the Content team
  • Share relevant content (articles, downloadables etc.) in relevant communities and drive backlinks and traffic
  • Lead the company in employee advocacy efforts
  • Learn and use the tools needed to execute the social media role effectively
  • Learn and adapt according to the functioning of the marketing team as well as the entire organization
  • Consistently post engaging and meaningful content and leverage the power of social to the fullest, across every platform
  • Develop social specific campaigns to help drive brand awareness

As a Social Media Specialist, You Must Have

  • 2-4 years of relevant social media experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong experience of using social media analytics tools
  • Self-motivated and collaborative individual
  • Understanding of the algorithms of Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and other social media channels is preferred
  • Ability to manage a diverse portfolio of work and multi-task
  • Great organizational skills and experience managing projects of varying complexity
  • MBA or degree in Marketing is a plus
