Lead Data Consultant (Media Analytics, GenAI, and Consulting Background)

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Lead Data Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role is central to our mission of empowering media organizations with cutting-edge data solutions. You will be at the forefront of ideating, designing, and executing advanced analytics and Generative AI solutions that address complex, novel challenges within the media value chain. What You’ll Do

  • Solution Ideation & Creation: Lead the conceptualization and development of innovative, end-to-end data analytics and Generative AI solutions for complex and often unprecedented problem statements within the media domain. This includes identifying new opportunities, defining problem spaces, and architecting novel approaches.
  • Generative AI Expertise: Design, develop, and implement Generative AI-powered solutions that drive significant business value for our clients in areas such as content creation, audience engagement, personalized experiences, and operational efficiency.
  • Media Value Chain Mastery: Leverage deep understanding of the media value chain (linear networks, OTT platforms, content production, distribution, advertising, etc.) to identify critical data points, develop insightful analytics, and build predictive models that inform strategic decisions.
  • Client Engagement & Communication: Lead and facilitate client discussions, effectively articulating complex technical concepts and innovative solutions in a clear, concise, and compelling manner that resonates with business stakeholders. Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proactively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, product, marketing), and leadership, ensuring alignment and successful project outcomes.
  • Innovation & Business Development: Actively contribute to our innovation pipeline, identifying emerging trends and technologies. Partner closely with the business development track to identify and pursue new growth opportunities, leveraging your expertise to articulate the value proposition of our solutions.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in the analytics space, with a significant focus on the media domain.
  • Proven experience in linear networks and OTT analytics, demonstrating a deep understanding of their unique data challenges and opportunities.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a strong foundation in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering Generative AI-based solutions, including understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and their application in business contexts.
  • A track record of creating innovative, end-to-end visualization solutions for novel and niche problem statements that have not been previously solved.
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business value and influence decision-making.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities, with experience in navigating complex organizational structures.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion.
  • A proactive, innovative mindset with a passion for tackling new challenges and a drive to see them through to closure.
  • Past experience in business development or driving growth initiatives is a must, demonstrating an understanding of market needs and client acquisition strategies.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics) or equivalent practical experience.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their associated data and AI services.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Publications or presentations in relevant industry forums.
  • Past experience in pre-sales, sales, or BD roles
